Hi all. Just wanted to tell you a little about my forthcoming exhibition which starts on October 5th at the Pink Cow, Shibuya.
Here's some info:

This exhibition concentrates on images shot at the maximum aperture of some of the Nikon lenses that Alfie shoots with, some of the fastest lenses in the company's range including the 50mm f/1.2 and the 85mm f/1.4.
Shooting "wide open" with such large apertures results in a very shallow depth of focus and a characteristic 'bokeh' [out of focus-ness] which has come to typify a lot of Alfie's work. The speed of the lenses also opens up superb opportunities for shots of people at night. And we all know how fascinating Tokyo is at night. As well as great people shots there are a number of stunning nature pieces which celebrate the beauty in even the most mundane or miniscule of urban nature in Tokyo.
October 5th is the opening night party. The exhibition runs for the whole of October.
Please come along from 6pm, enjoy the live music of the Pink Cow's famous "Cow Jam" from 7pm and put your hands in your pockets for what is undoubtedly some of the best food in town. As Alfie says: "Anyone who has been both the Head Chef of the QE2 liner and London's Institute of Directors, is a chef whose food HAS to be worth trying.... and the Pink Cow menu is DEFINITELY worth trying."
